Initial Consultation

All projects begin with an initial consultation. During the initial consultation, we will discuss the general project, which will include discussions regarding your design style, project needs/desires and scope of your custom woodworking project.

Pearce Woodworks Detroit will gather fundamental needs, intake inspirational images selected by you, and compile the information needed to provide a clear sense of the journey ahead, including cost parameters, area measurements, project details, requested timeline and all other factors necessary to successfully accomplish your custom project.

Free Project Estimate

After gathering the necessary information and establishing a preliminary design layout (completed by Pearce Woodworks Detroit, your architect or interior designer), we will provide a complimentary estimate of your anticipated project costs.

Collaborative Design

Once we begin development of your project, we work on finalizing major design plans and elevations, and connecting with necessary project partners.

Pearce Woodworks Detroit will create a 3D design drawing of your project utilizing actual measurements from your space to help you envision the completed project in your space.

Timelines & Scheduling

Because all projects are customized and handcrafted, production at our workshop in Detroit, MI, takes on average 8-12 weeks depending on the project scope, specifications and current run of schedule. While this is our average lead time, we work hard to accommodate special requests and ensure reasonable timelines.

Pearce Woodworks Detroit will always work with clients to meet timelines within reason and will communicate with the client should any factors impact their timeline goals.

We'll provide you with insight into your project timeline, taking our scheduling needs and our current project calendar into account.

We value transparency and will communicate with you every step of the way on any project developments. While your project is in production, we will value providing you with updates and photos to bring you along in the production process of your project.

Delivery & Installation

Pearce Woodworks Detroit will work with you, the client, to schedule project delivery at a time that works for you. Clients will be notified as a project is nearing completion to set up delivery.

Pearce Woodworks Detroit will work with you and your team to schedule your delivery and, if applicable, installation by our team.
